NHL Got It Right - Acquitted Means Acquitted

The league had a decision to make, and this one goes straight to the oldest rule in hockey governance: if the facts say acquitted, you do not get cute with the verdict. That does not make the public conversation vanish, because in this league nothing ever really disappears once it hits the bloodstream of the fan base and the room. But the NHL is signaling that it understands the difference between outrage and evidence, and that matters when a case gets as loud as this one.
