Rangers sign two RFA: The New York Rangers had the four biggest restricted free agents heading into salary arbitration. Yesterday they cut the list in half by signing defenseman, Tony DeAngelo and goalie, Alexandar Georgiev.

The Rangers signed Tony DeAngelo who finished 4th in scoring for defenseman to a two year deal with an AAV of $4.8 million. They also locked up goalie Alexandar Georgiev for two more season with an AAV of $2.425 million.

Mike Hoffman close to signing a one year deal

One big free agent scorer is out there and he is former Florida Panthers winger, Mike Hoffman. It was first rumored that he was holding out for a multi-year deal but now it sounds like he will accept a one year contract like Taylor Hall. I expect that team he’s considering to be the Nashville Predators.
