NHL Trade Bait Tracker lists top 35 targets as Deadline approaches

We’ve updated our NHL Trade Bait Tracker for the upcoming NHL Trade Deadline with just about two weeks to go.
The top NHL Trade Targets are plentiful as we approach the March 21 Deadline. With teams continuing to clearly draw the lines as to whom are the playoff contenders and pretenders, we will start to see more trade action.
Since we updated the list on February 26th there’s been six names added and Filip Forsberg has been removed after GM David Poile stated he was not trying to trade him. New adds to the list are highlighted in the chart below.
There’s also been some big shifts as Claude Giroux has now taken the top spot on the list. You will also notice that J.T. Miller and Tomas Hertl dropping significantly.
This is all expected to change again in the coming weeks. As more teams fall out of the playoff race and contenders (buyers) feel they can take on the cap hits.
