NHL Trade Bait: Jack Roslovic likely closest to be moved

The 23 year-old RFA demanded a trade from the Jets and is likely going to get his wish soon. He was a first round pick back in 2015 and saw career highs with 12 goals and 29 points playing primarily as a third liner. He is looking for a more prominent role with his next club.

The Penguins are the team most interested in him at the moment, but there are other suitors. This one could very well be the first in-season trade of the year.

NHL Trade Bait: Panthers looking to move Keith Yandle

Here’s some good news for Keith Yandle, the Florida Panthers are going to start him in their season opener keeping his iron man streak alive. The defenseman is at 866 games and chasing Doug Jarvis streak of 954.

While Yandle is long for playing with the Panthers, there was talk the Islanders were trying to acquire during the offseason but cap issues prevented it. Now we hear the Bruins are the likely landing spot.

This is another in-season move to keep an eye on.

NHL Trade Bait: Tony DeAngelo on this on with Rangers

Tony DeAngelo has been a lightning rod of controversy since he’s been with the Rangers. Whether it’s his now deleted Twitter account, or his clashes with coach David Quinn, it’s become a little distracting. Things came to a head as he was scratched for last night’s 5-0 win over the Islanders.

Frustrated by his unsportsmanlike penalty, and what in the past has been dubbed “maturity issues” the high scoring defenseman could be on the block.

The word I am getting this early in the season is he could be moved in the right deal. DeAngelo is likely to be the main piece in any trade for a center. Last season, DeAngelo had several teams inquiring about him and if he’s on the block there will be more teams interested now.

NHL Trade Bait: Pierre-Luc Dubois and Patrik Laine

Laine and Dubois are both one and two respectively on this list. They are easily the two biggest names that may be moved this season.

For now the noise has died down a little. Both the Jets and Jackets have has plenty of talks with teams but are in no rush to me either of them. That could change as soon as I hit publish.
