NHL Rumors: Slew of goalie signings, another buyout, and more trade chatter

NHL Rumors heating up as things start reaching a fever pitch. The goalie market just got some additional clarity with a few signings today. Also we have some draft news for you, another buyout, and more.

NHL Rumors – Goalie Market gets “some” clarity

Three goalies were signed today in Brian Elliott for the Flyers, Tristan Jarry for the Penguins, and Robin Lehner for the Golden Knights. For the Flyers, that means they are locked in goal with Elliott and Carter Hart. As for the Pens and Knights, well Matt Murray is now officially out and Marc-Andre Fleury will likely need a new home soon.

NHL Rumors – Coyotes continue cap cleaning/money savings

The Arizona Coyotes have put Michael Grabner on waivers for the purpose of a buyout. The speedy Grabs will make a great bottom six add for many teams.

More and more GM’s believe that Patrik Laine will be traded and now Winnipeg Jets GM, Kevin Cheveldayoff is hinting as much. “So we’re looking at all our options, including potentially trading different players,” he said when asked about the possibility.

It also sounds like the Vancouver Canucks are very much in the mix for Oliver Ekman-Larsson and that the Flyers are interested in signing UFA, Jesper Fast.
