The top remaining UFA is still out there, but it doesn’t sound like he is interested in a one year deal. If any team is going to land his 30 goal potential they will need to give him at least two years.

NHL Rumors: Mike Hoffman wants a multi-year deal

What do recent top UFA signings Mikael Granlund, Erik Haula, and Anthony Duclair all have in common? They signed a one year show me deal. But if the St. Louis Blues and Boston Bruins, who are the two team most mentioned in landing Mike Hoffman want him, they will have to go at least two seasons.

They aren’t the only teams interested. TFP is reporting that the Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets and Nashville Predators remain in the hunt for Hoffman’s services.
