NHL Rumors: Knights check in on Tony DeAngelo, Predators making a run at Taylor Hall, and more
This is the longest draft ever.
Sorry, it had to be said. Now let’s check in on the latest NHL Rumors from around the league.
NHL Rumors – Knights called Rangers about DeAngelo
The Golden Knights are still going to make a run at Alex Pietrangelo on Friday. However, they are looking for a right handed defenseman and Tony DeAngelo and the Rangers are at a contract impasse. Expect other teams to check in as well.
NHL Rumors – Predators clearing space to go after Taylor Hall
The Predators have bought out Kyle Turris and Steven Santini in order to clear cap space to make a run at Taylor Hall. “My understanding is the Nashville Predators are among the clubs that come calling on Hall,” Pierre Lebrun reported. “One reason it would make sense is that Hall would be reunited with his old Devils coach, John Hynes.”

NHL News – Blue Jackets sign Max Domi
The Columbus Blue Jackets wasted no time and signed Max Domi to a new tow year deal.
NHL Rumors – Josh Anderson willing to go long term
On the other side of the Max Domi trade, the Canadiens will need to work out a new deal with Josh Anderson. “If a long-term contract is available in Montreal, I would be more than happy to work with them on that,” the big winger said.
Additionally, Anderson said that his shoulder is “100% stable.” According to Pierre Lebrun the Canadiens have reached out to get the ball rolling.
