NHL Rumors: Bruins going with Tuukka Rask, Canucks have yet to start negotiations with Elias Pettersson, and more
There was a lot of questions during Return to Play about the future of Tuukka Rask. After he opted to leave the bubble for family reasons, it was thought the Bruins would trade him. Apparently, that may not be the case.
NHL Rumors: Bruins going with Tuukka Rask
Today, Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy told reporters that everything that happened in the bubble has been dealt with and they are moving forward. Cassidy made it clear that meant with Tuukka Rask as well.
“I think Tuukka, he can speak for himself,” Cassidy said. “But I think he just wants to get back in the net and play hockey and play well and give us a chance to win. Probably nobody more excited on our team to [be] getting back in there. I would assume that Tuukka would sort of say, ‘Hey, I’m still the goalie I was last year and I’m ready to go. Family’s good, I’m good. Everyone’s in a good place. Let’s play hockey.'”
