NHL News: Vladimir Tarasenko back tonight for Blues, Tom Wilson to be suspended, and Matt Duchene on IR
The Vegas Golden Knights just received an alert on their phones -“Vladimir Tarasenko is back!” As the Blues start to get healthier and add one of their best offensive players back, the race for first in the West just got hotter.

St. Louis happily welcomes back 29 year-old forward Vlad Tarasenko after shoulder surgery this past August. He’s a five time 30 goal scorer with 214 career markers to his credit.
“It was a long period without playing hockey, but most important, we needed to get it fixed and get it done and get it healthy again,” Tarasenko told stlouisblues.com. “The doctors in Vail, Colorado did a great job, the Blues doctors did a great job, everybody was on the same page. We worked a lot and I’m finally able to play… The three surgeries is in the past, there is some speculation still, but it was a different injury, not the same injury three times. Now it’s healthy, I feel strong and ready to come back and can’t wait until I step on the ice.”

Tom Wilson will have to answer for his high hit that sent Brandon Carlo to the hospital last night. He could be suspended up to six games.
Carlo has been released from the hospital today and is at home resting.
