It’s post election day morning in the U.S. but we still don’t know who won! I stay apolitical but I am old enough to remember when people used to only vote on one day, with a paper ballot, and we knew who won that night.

NHL News: Mark Scheifele healthy again
Winnipeg received some great news yesterday on 27 year-old Mark Scheifele. He was injured in game on of the qualifiers and did not require surgery on his leg.
“I’m 100 percent, no question,” Scheifele told NHL.com. “Skating every day. I don’t know anyone who skates more than I do. I love being on the ice. That’s my No. 1 thing. I get on the ice as much as I can.”
NHL News: Giant gap between Rangers and Ryan Strome

The asks are in and Ryan Strome is seeking a new deal worth $5.7 million from the New York Rangers. Jeff Gorton and company have countered with $3.6 million.

It looks like the Stars will start the season without two key players. Both goalie Ben Bishop and center Tyler Seguin had surgery yesterday and will be out for 5 months.
