The focus of the General Managers meetings was primarily on “fixing” the NHL Draft Lottery. Of course there were other things discussed and here’s the biggest highlights.
NHL GM Meetings Notes
- Target start date remains 1/1/21
- Target is still a full 82 game season
- Target is to start with some level of fan attendance
- Potential to start with several hub cities
- Realignment is possible to minimize travel
- NHL training camps would be 14 days (24 days for teams that missed RTP)
- Three exhibition games per team
