NHL Draft Day Rumors: Stamkos available, Wennberg buyout, Rangers pick 22 in play, and more
NHL Draft Day Rumors will be rampant today. Of course, rumors always get spicier when semi-retired Bob McKenzie starts tweeting in the middle of the night.
NHL Draft Day Rumors – Steven Stamkos available
The Tampa Bay Lightning are being very aggressive this summer. They are trying to re-sign their big RFAs and are ready to deal. Word in the rumor mill is that everyone is available not named Brayden Point, Victor Hedman, Andrei Vasilevskiy, or Nikita Kucherov.
Tampa wants to regain a first round pick and Stamkos will get them one. Look for teams like NJ and NYR as trade partners. Basically anyone with more than one first round pick.
NHL Draft Day Rumors – Alex Wennberg available

It looks like Alex Wennberg may actually be bought out. The Jackets have been trying to trade him but apparently there are no takers. Once this center hits the market he will have plenty of suitors, including the Winnipeg Jets.
NHL Draft Day Rumors – Rangers likely to trade the 22nd pick in the draft
The Rangers will have already won the draft the moment they select Alexis Lafreniere with the first overall pick. The general consensus in the rumor mill is that the #22 pick is very much in play and the will be traded at some point today.
