NHL COVID list has 23 players on it; Blue Jackets Max Domi latest in COVID-19 protocol
The NHL COVID protocol list continues to act as a revolving door this season. Max Domi of the Blue Jackets is another name added to the list that even saw 7 members of the Shark enter added over the weekend.
Blue Jackets add Max Domi to COVID LIST
Four days after being activated from the injured reserve list, Columbus Blue Jackets forward Max Domi was placed in the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol on Monday.
Being in the protocol doesn’t necessarily mean a player has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Domi, 26, has four points (one goal, three assists) in four games this season for the Blue Jackets (5-3-0). He missed four games between Oct. 19 and 25 due to a fractured rib suffered against the Seattle Kraken on Oct. 16.
The Jackets on Monday also recalled forward Kevin Stenlund from its AHL affiliate, the Cleveland Monsters.
Stenlund, 25, has 20 points (11 goals, nine assists) in 68 career NHL games with Columbus since 2018. He has three points (one goal, two assists) in seven games with Cleveland this season.
The Blue Jackets’ next game is Wednesday night at the Colorado Avalanche.
