TVA, which was first to report McCrimmon’s positive test before the team confirmed it, reported that the NHL “followed up with” the Knights’ executives and were assured it “won’t be repeated.”
“We are aware of a positive test result involving Kelly McCrimmon,” the Golden Knights said in a statement. “Kelly is self-isolating and will follow the protocols and recommendations from health officials and the NHL.”

Canadiens coach Dominique Ducharme tested positive before Game 3 and is currently in isolation. Asked in an interview if he’ll have to spend 14 days in isolation, per Canadian regulations, Ducharme replied, “I’m confident I’ll be back before that.”
