It’s time for you daily dose of NHL trade rumors. We will begin with the top unrestricted free agent currently available this off-season in Arizona.

Taylor Hall trade rumors galore this offseason

Things are not going well in Arizona these days. They basically had their GM, John Chayka quit on them after the team refused to let him interview for the Devils GM job. It could get even worse this summer, if Taylor Hall doesn’t sign with the Coyotes.

Offensively, Hall struggled this season with just 52 points in 65 games playing in NJ and Arizona. Granted, it’s hard to get excited going from the swamp to the desert after playing so many years in the frozen tundra of Edmonton.

Still, this a player barely two seasons removed from winning the Hart trophy with 93 points. He has the size and skill that are hard to come by in this league, and will be coveted by many teams when free agent frenzy begins.

At this time, Arizona’s Owner and COO are handling the negotiations with Hall. If the Yotes can’t come to at least a hand shake agreement with him, they will need to trade his rights at the draft in October.

Jesse Puljujarvi is singing a new tune with the Oilers

Someone is singing a new song in Finland. Disgruntled prospect, Jesse Puljujarvi is now reconsidering playing for the Edmonton Oilers.

“You can never say no,” Puljujarvi told Finnish news outlet Tampere Iltalehti. “I have grown and I see things a little differently. There’s now a different GM and head coach out there. Build a winning team in Edmonton. It may be possible that I will still be playing there.”

Maybe, Puljujarvi has realized that the Oilers are not just going to give him away, and other teams aren’t as interested to acquire him as he thought. Basically, sounds like Jesse figured out that if he wants to play in the NHL he will need to swallow some pride and play in Edmonton.

Still, there could always be the possibility of a trade at the draft where players in his situation get dealt to move up.
