Montreal Canadiens forward Brendan Gallagher took to TikTok to let fans know what a rough 24 hours he’s had.

Without saying a word with a Pit Bull song in the clip, he sat there and took a bite out of a sandwich. It was the overlaying text that laid out his situation.

“When your Stanley Cup dreams are crushed and you come home to find out you’ve been robbed. But it’s ok because Pit Bull has been there and done that.”

Brendan Gallagher emotional after loss

You have to give Gallagher a lot of credit for being this positive in the wake of an emotional defeat in the Stanley Cup Final. He really struggled in his post game interview, but showed true professionalism answering questions.

“I played on a lot of really good teams with a lot of really good guys – I’m sorry, I’ll try and answer,” Gallagher said while fighting off tears. “It’s a really tough pill to swallow.”

Hopefully the police apprehend the culprit(s) who did this, and he can recover what was taken.

“Every single guy gave everything they had every single night to this run,” added Gallagher. “You look at  our group (and) there are a lot more talented teams, but there’s no team that’s stronger as a group, the resiliency we showed. It’s a good team to be part of.”
