Buffalo Sabres Jack Eichel latest star out with injury as RTP camps set to open
The Buffalo Sabres opened up training camp with no Jack Eichel around. He is dealing with an upper-body injury that was sustained in training during the offseason. He is listed as day-to day.
Buffalo opened camp on 12/31 along with six other teams that didn’t participate in RTP this past August.

Immigration issues for teams expected
Another issue teams will be dealing with are immigration matter and starting quarantine late. That is the case with Linus Ullmark of the Sabres.
Kasperi Kapanen of the Pittsburgh Penguins is not going to be a camp when it opens tomorrow. “He has an immigration timing issue, so he will get here partway through camp,” general manager Jim Rutherford told TRIB Live.
It is expected several other teams will make similar announcements today or tomorrow.
