Breaking: Blue Jackets and Pierre-Luc Dubois agree to bridge deal

The Columbus Blue Jackets just announced they have signed Pierre-Luc Dubois to a 2 year-deal with an AAV of $5 million.

Blue Jackets sign Dubois

The deal comes basically over an hour after rumors surfaced that Dubois may be looking for a change.

“Pierre-Luc is a talented, young player with great potential, and we look forward to his continued growth and development, and the valuable contributions he will bring to our team,” Jackets GM Jarmo Kekalainen said on the team’s website. “I’d like to thank my staff, as well as Pat Brisson and his group, for their professionalism and efforts to finalize this agreement prior to the start of training camp to ensure that the focus moving forward is on our team and achieving its goals for the upcoming season.”
