“Obviously, with the Blues and the organization, all the staff, we have a really good connection with each other,” Kyrou told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on Tuesday after agreeing to the terms of the contract. “We feel really good about each other. I’m obviously excited to be back for sure. … I love playing for St. Louis.”

Kyrou, 23, scored 14 goals and 21 assists for 35 points in 55 games last season. He added one goal in the Blues four game sweep at the hands of the Colorado Avalanche in the playoffs.
“Speed and skill. He gets opportunities because of that,” head coach Craig Berube commented on Kyrou’s game this season. “He’s just got to manage the puck a little better at times, and that’ll come.”
The Blues second round pick in the 2016 Draft has amassed career totals of 47 points in 99 regular-season contests. St. Louis will count on him to continue to be a two-way player that uses his speed to create offensive chances.
